Wonder Woman Super Powers Figure

Manufacturer: Kenner (plus others listed in description)
Year of release: 1984 - 1989
Description: 4.25" Wonder Woman action figure with gold cord lasso and Power Action Deflector Bracelets feature (squeeze legs together to perform the crossed-bracelets pose as shown in artwork on package). Also comes with mini comic book and cut out collector card. The are quite a number of package variations (shown below) with releases by Kenner (US and Canada), Estrela (Brazil), Gulliver (Colombia), Lili Ledy (Mexico), Play Ful (Argentina) and a European release listing 4 various companies on the one card (see European release below). There was even a variant figure released by Gulliver which does not feature stars on Wonder Woman's shorts or articulation in the knees. According to KennerSuperPowers.com there are even 2 variations of this Columbian figure. An invisible plane and 12" figure was considered for production by Kenner but unfortunately never made it past the proposal stage. Wonder Woman Super Powers Action Figure mini comic book - 1984

There are at least 2 other versions of the mini comic - 1 comes with the Lili Ledy Mexican release and contains the Lili Ledy logo in the bottom right hand corner and the text Mujer Maravilla. The other version features the Burger King logo in top right hand corner which must have been part of a meal premium (shown below). If you know of more variants please contact webmaster.

Below: Gulliver Colombia version with poster and different artwork and Gulliver logo released in 1987. This figure is also different from the other releases. There are no stars on the shorts and there is no articulation at the knees. It also does not include a golden lasso. There are apparently two variations of the figure available - one has a lighter skin tone than the other. One example sold online in 2011 for US$249.99 but this version has sold as low as US$90. Below: Tri-lingual European version of which there are 2 versions - one with mini comic, a poster and "Free Poster Inside" sticker on the card, the other version does not contain the mini comic, poster or sticker. The back of the card reads "manufactured under agreement from CPG Products Corp" and also lists other companies Parker Spiele and Spielzeug, The Palitoy Company, Clipper Benelux Koniginnewag, and General Mills Childkit Juguetes.
