Super DC Calendar 1977

Manufacturer: Warner Books
Year: 1977
Description: Wonder Woman and Cheetah appear as the pinup for January. Contains the following description: The New Year's Eve crowd stands hushed as the mighty Wonder Woman counters the mad attack of the snarling Cheetah, the Amazon Princess' ferocious feline foe. From the heart of New York's Times Square, high above the spiraling rooftops, the sound of battle reverberate through the darkened canyons of Manhattan as the New Year closes in. Five seconds…four…three…two…one, the crowd roars with one giant voice as Wonder Woman and 1977 deliver the victory blow. Yes, folks, it's going to be a happy new year for all of us thanks to Paradise island's Daring Dame. The calendar lists the following Wonder Woman related dates 2 January - Ares starts a war between Altlantis and Paradise Island - but WW averts it! (WW #215, Jan, 1974), 8 January - Birthday of Queen Hippolyta, with the caption Don't send cards - she'd rather not be reminded, 11 January - I Ching killed by sniper's bullet - the New, Original Wonder Woman returns (WW #204, Jan-Feb, 1973), 19 January - Cheetah hynotises Steve and uses him to trap WW (WW #160, Feb, 1966), 25 January - Ares attacks Paradise Island to gain the secret of interdimensional travel (WW #198, Jan-Feb, 1972), 28 January - Ares gives Dr Psycho greater strength than WW to disprove equality of the sexes (WW #160).
