Wonder Woman Playset Description: Mego planned and produced prototype playsets for the 12" line of Wonder Woman dolls in 1978. Unfortunately the playset were never produced. A different playset than the one pictured here was even shown in one of Mego's Wonder Woman doll television advertisements. The television commercial refers to a spinner that when you put the Wonder Woman doll on she knocks down the palace. Someone out there possibly owns this prototype if it wasn't destroyed when the company closed. There would no doubt be a huge bidding war if this item ever turned up for auction! |
